Early Assurance Program (EAP)

OSU’s Early Assurance Program (EAP) sets you up for success from the start. As an EAP student, you’ll gain confidence knowing your pathway to pharmacy school is supported every step of the way. Benefits include:

  • Guaranteed Pharm.D. Spot : Secure your place in OSU’s Pharm.D. program (contingent on a successful PharmCAS application and interview).

  • Personalized Advising : Get one-on-one guidance and support as you prepare for pharmacy school.

  • PharmCAS Application Support : Receive tailored help to make your application as strong as possible.

  • Exclusive EAP Events:  Participate in specialized workshops and activities designed to build your skills and connections.

  • PharmCAS Fee Waiver:  Apply to the Pharm.D. program by the December 1 Priority Deadline to receive a waiver for your PharmCAS application fee.

Pharm.D. Application Requirements & Process

Pharm.D. program requirements, in brief.

  • The Doctor of Pharmacy program uses a holistic admission review process. There is no minimum GPA to apply. However, prerequisite courses must be completed with a minimum of C- grade (1.7) on a 4.0 scale. A pre-requisite GPA of 2.75 is recommended.

  • You must submit at least two recommendation letters with your Pharm.D. application. A maximum of four letters will be accepted.

  • Applications must be submitted prior to the deadline shown on our Admissions Process page.


Your application process, step by step:

  1. Your application is submitted via PharmCAS, and they verify your application.

  2. We’ll keep you up to date on the status of your application, and may reach out if we have questions about your application

  3. Based upon our review, you may be invited to interview for our Pharm.D. program! This is guaranteed to those who take part in our EAP program

  4. You will be notified whether you are accepted into the program*

*Note: Pharmacy students who are enrolled members of federally recognized tribes are eligible for in state tuition.

Pharmacy Ambassadors

Our Pharmacy Ambassadors are pharmacists who work at Tribal clinics across the state of Oregon and are passionate about their practice. Our Ambassadors aim to inspire AI/AN students to pursue pharmacy by sharing their stories and the many opportunities that the pharmacy profession offers. Together, we are committed to supporting the next generation of Native pharmacists.

Indigenous Student Resources at OSU

Kaku-Ixt Mana Ina Haws

The Kaku-Ixt Mana Ina Haws on campus at Oregon State University “represents the Indigenous people of the Americas and Pacific Islands.”

“We strive to deconstruct colonial borders’ impact on Indigenous identities while also honoring the sovereignty of Tribes. While protecting and preserving the rights of Indigenous people, we provide a sense of home/community for Indigenous students that helps preserve their Indigenous identities while in college. The Ina Haws provides a source of support honoring the cultures of the first people of these lands and waters. We also provide educational opportunities to educate all about the regions Tribes.” - Kaku-Ixt Mana Ina Haws Statement of Purpose
