NNACoE receives $1 Million dollar award to expand the Tribal Health Scholars Program in Oregon
Six OHSU programs were awarded a combined $6.5 million from the Oregon Health Authority to improve rural health in the state.
$1 Million dollars were awarded to NNACoE support Tribal Health Scholars, paid externship program with the goal inspiring American Indians and Alaska Natives in high school to envision themselves as healthcare professionals. The award will double the number of participants at new and existing sites in Oregon.
