Laurel Hoffmann, MD, MPH
Wy’east Faculty, Population Health

At NNACoE, Dr. Hoffmann teaches Population Health in the Wy’east Pathway. In Population Health we explore current issues in public health and medicine and learn epidemiology together.  She loves being a part of the NNACoE team because of the many creative ways the Center amplifies the strengths of Indigenous learners.

Dr. Hoffmann takes care of infants, children, and their families as a pediatrician at OHSU Doernbecher Children’s Hospital. Prior to medical school, Dr. Hoffmann attended Johns Hopkins University and worked at the National Institutes of Health. She is always looking for creative ways to get all children off to a bright start in life!

Dr. Hoffmann grew up in the great state of Oklahoma and now she loves exploring the wonderful outdoors in the northwest with her growing family.
