Dr. Craig was born and raised in Oklahoma. She received her Bachelor’s in Native American Studies from the University of Oklahoma. Upon graduation, she relocated to pursue a dual degree program at A.T. Still University- Arizona School of Dentistry & Oral Health. She has practiced dentistry within Native communities in Northern Michigan, as well as an Urban Indian/Federally Qualified Health Center in Seattle. Dr. Craig is passionate about improving the oral health status of Indigenous people, and feels strongly that increasing the number of Indigenous dentists is an integral part of this mission. As a first-generation college student, she is familiar with barriers to higher education and passionate about helping learners overcome these challenges. Dr. Craig is excited to help develop the Wy’ East Dentistry Pathway, and create a space where Indigenous learners are valued and supported throughout their journey. In her spare time, Dr. Craig enjoys reading, traveling, and hiking the Pacific Northwest with her dog Luna.
