Caitlin Donald, MSW
Osage/Ponca
Associate Director, NNACoE

Caitlin was born and raised in Portland, Oregon. She lived in Texas, Nebraska, Missouri, and Washington before returning to Portland for good. She came to NNACoE in 2019 to change the face of the U.S. health workforce by creating more space and opportunity for Native healers. As a social worker passionate about culturally aligned change, Caitlin is invested in uncovering what works in Native communities as defined by the communities themselves. She received her Bachelor’s in Social Work from Portland State University and her Master’s in Social Work from Washington University in St. Louis. She has worked in partnership with AI/AN communities since 2010, mostly through Indigenous health research projects. At NNACoE, she directs the Center with Dr. Brodt and mentors the people within it. Outside of work, Caitlin spends most of her time working with her spouse, Brian, on renovating their home and garden, and taking their dogs on adventures.
