Brianna Wing, RN, MSN, WHNP-BC, APNP
Masters of Science in Nursing
Mashpee Wampanoag
(she/her)
Wy'east Nursing Pathway Assistant Director

Brianna grew up Texas, but has begun to plant roots in Oregon as she begins her own family. She received her bachelor’s in public health, which began her love of patient care.  During this time, she worked on studying maternal substance use disorders with one of the Texas’ only approved treatment centers. She is a tribal member of the Mashpee Wampanoags and went to graduate school in Boston to be closer to her family still living on tribal lands and reconnect with her oceanic roots. There she received invaluable training at a top university in world class hospitals, but the real lessons would begin working with tribal folks in rural Wisconsin. Working in family medicine and urgent care for the last two years at a tribal clinic in Oregon, Brianna continues to use her specialty in Women’s Health to her patients’ benefit where lack of access is often an issue. Spreading and receiving good medicine with her current tribal community has been the biggest blessing of her career. She’s excited to bring some good medicine (ɫush lamatsin) to OHSU.
